Business Development Engineer (G+1 Certified)

Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Engineer with strong exposure to the Abu Dhabi construction and contracting market. The ideal candidate must hold a mandatory G+1 Engineering Certification and demonstrate a strong balance of technical knowledge, site coordination, and commercial capability.
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, securing G+1 construction projects, and ensuring site progress, quality, and compliance through regular inspections and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with clients, consultants, and developers across Abu Dhabi.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and cold calling to technical presentations and contract closure.
- Coordinate with estimation and technical teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals.
- Track upcoming G+1 projects and stay updated with ADM / DMT regulations and market trends.
2. Technical Site Management & Supervision
- Conduct regular and mandatory site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with approved G+1 designs.
- Act as a key link between clients, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with minimal disruptions.
- Monitor compliance with DMT regulations and Abu Dhabi EHS standards.
3. Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and authorities.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and municipality-related discussions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Certification: Mandatory G+1 Certification approved by Abu Dhabi Municipality / DMT
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in the UAE construction industry
- At least 2 years in Business Development or Sales
- License: Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi Building Codes
- Familiarity with TAMM system and permit approval processes
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- High energy, self-driven, and results-oriented
- Strong site-first and problem-solving mindset
