Job Summary:
An experience resource with core experience of shipping sales, able to mould the leads into closings! Young, Energetic and agile and well-groomed personality, with can do attitude to work in a team is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals by targeting key industry verticals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to understand and pitch the services.
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential clients in the dedicated sector (importers, exporters, manufacturers, etc.).
- Identify and approach direct importers and exporters for business opportunities especially in ocean freight, FCL/LCL.
- Maintain relationships with logistics partners and ensure compliance with company policies and shipping standards.
- Negotiating terms and pricing with clients to secure long-term contracts.
- Ensuring contracts align with company policies and profit margins.
- Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of shipping orders.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
Education: Graduate
Experience: 2 – 4 years background in Shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry is often preferred.
PIFFA – FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding is an edge on profile.
