Role Overview:
At Zircon, the B2B Sales Executive will be responsible for developing a strong market presence by visiting building material retailers. The role focuses on strengthening retailer relationships, expanding regional footprint, and promoting Sanitar products through consistent market engagement.
Role Summary:
- Visit building material retail shops regularly to build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Develop a strong Sanitar brand presence and footprint in the assigned region through continuous retailer engagement.
- Promote Sanitar’s product portfolio to improve margin mix.
- Appoint new retailers and activate inactive accounts within the territory.
- Ensure proper product visibility, display, and positioning at retailer outlets.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, schemes, and market trends and share insights with management.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales Support, Inventory, Logistics, Finance) to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
- Follow up on collections, credit limits, and outstanding payments in coordination with the finance team.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined field activity.
SKills
- Fluent and confident communication in Hindi, Malayalam, and English for effective interaction with retailers.
- Ability to influence retailer buying decisions, handle objections, and close sales in a competitive building materials market.
- Good understanding of market dynamics, competitor brands, pricing practices, and retailer expectations in the sanitaryware and building materials segment.
- Capability to build trust-based, long-term relationships with shop owners and key decision-makers.
- Ability to plan daily routes, prioritize high-potential retailers, and maximize field productivity.
