Business Development Executive

IBSTEC is seeking a high-performing, results-driven Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in generating business through Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate is strategic, proactive, and skilled at converting prospects into long-term clients within the digital services space.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients on Upwork, Fiverr, and other online freelancing platforms
• Generate qualified leads through bidding, proposal writing, cold calling, and email marketing
• Develop customized, high-conversion proposals aligned with client requirements
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to create winning project proposals
• Negotiate project scope, pricing, and timelines to close deals successfully
• Maintain an organized database of leads, proposals, and project statuses
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets
• Stay updated on platform trends and industry best practices to refine bidding strategies

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in business development via freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, etc.)
• Strong track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets
• Expertise in bidding strategies, proposal writing, and negotiations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Basic understanding of IT services and digital marketing (preferred)
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and growth-oriented mindset
