Position Overview
The Business Development Executive will primarily focus on lead generation, client outreach, branding support, and pre-sales activities within the electrical and automation solutions domain. The role requires a proactive individual who can identify potential clients, understand their requirements, and support the sales and technical teams in converting opportunities into business.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads through platforms like LinkedIn, online directories, and industry portals
- Research target companies, decision-makers, and maintain a qualified lead database
- Conduct cold calls, email outreach, and follow-ups to convert leads into opportunities
- Initiate client communication, schedule meetings, and support the sales team
- Strong understanding of electrical and automation solutions
- Working knowledge of Industrial automation, IIoT and EMS.
- Understand customer requirements and communicate them to internal teams
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and required documentation
- Create presentations, pitch decks, and support branding materials
- Support solution understanding and schematics where required
- Explore new markets, industries, and potential clients for business expansion
- Maintain CRM records and track lead generation and pipeline activities
- Read technical documents and datasheets of various products
Eligibility Criteria
- 1–3 years of experience in business development / pre sales support
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in industrial automation, IoT or technical environment (preferred)
