Business Development Executive

Position Overview

The Business Development Executive will primarily focus on lead generation, client outreach, branding support, and pre-sales activities within the electrical and automation solutions domain. The role requires a proactive individual who can identify potential clients, understand their requirements, and support the sales and technical teams in converting opportunities into business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new leads through platforms like LinkedIn, online directories, and industry portals
  • Research target companies, decision-makers, and maintain a qualified lead database
  • Conduct cold calls, email outreach, and follow-ups to convert leads into opportunities
  • Initiate client communication, schedule meetings, and support the sales team
  • Strong understanding of electrical and automation solutions
  • Working knowledge of Industrial automation, IIoT and EMS.
  • Understand customer requirements and communicate them to internal teams
  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and required documentation
  • Create presentations, pitch decks, and support branding materials
  • Support solution understanding and schematics where required
  • Explore new markets, industries, and potential clients for business expansion
  • Maintain CRM records and track lead generation and pipeline activities
  • Read technical documents and datasheets of various products

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development / pre sales support
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in industrial automation, IoT or technical environment (preferred)
