We are seeking a Proactive, enthusiast and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team in the office Furnishing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, cold calling, and inside sales, driving business growth through strategic client outreach. Having industry contacts or familiarity with architects, project management consultants (PMCs), or Architects interior designers will be a significant advantage.

Job Description:

  • Prospecting - Developing a list of target interiors designers and architects.
  • Cold calling and visiting architect and designer offices to get an appointment with the principal architect.
  • Present brand offering, products and services.
  • Collecting data on the projects at hand and pitching for the same.
  • New business development, meeting Architects/ Interior designers/ Contractors/ Builders and giving presentations to key people for specification / consideration of our products.
  • scanning of potential clients, develop relations with influencer segments (Architects / Interior Designers)
  • Providing after sales service and client retention.
  • Arranging showroom and factory visits of principal architects and designers with their teams.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through Networking in fraternity.
  • Enter the lead details in CRM.
  • Strong and timely follow-up with prospects until project enquiry generated.
  • Engaging existing customer base with latest projects and company news.
  • Represent organization at trade shows, events and demonstrations.
  • Taking architect/customer feedback and analyzing them for future improvements.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Contacting any inbound leads shared and focusing on conversion of the lead to business by developing quotes, visiting the site, submitting proposals and client servicing
  • Daily update of the excel sheet and CRM software for all leads generated and shared and follow ups conducted
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers as well as channel partners in the territory assigned
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts for potential clients. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with clients, understanding their needs, and negotiating terms Conducted site visits to ensure client requirements were met.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, cold calling, or lead generation (preferably in furniture, interiors, or related industries).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English is mandatory.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.
