Business Development Executive (BDE)

Work Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis & Strategy
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and the competitive landscape within the regional geotechnical sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
  • Generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Client Acquisition & Engagement
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business by targeting key clients, including civil engineering firms, government agencies, construction companies, and private developers.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person client meetings and site visits.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and detailed briefings about our company's capabilities, services, and NABL accreditation.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our technical services, including geotechnical investigations, construction material testing, and structural audits, to a non-technical audience.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing technical guidance and solutions.

Proposal & Contract Manage

  • Proposal & Contract Management
  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to prepare compelling proposals, bids, and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Sales & Reporting
  • Actively manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to senior management.
  • Networking & Technical Knowledge
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, to promote services and expand the professional network.
  • Use your technical expertise to understand client needs and effectively communicate the value of the company's geotechnical services.
  • Stay up-to-date on the technical aspects of our services and relevant industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar marketing role, preferably within the geotechnical, construction, engineering or infrastructure industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any graduate with related technical field is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of technical terms related to construction, civil engineering, and material testing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and a proven ability to close deals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and fieldwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
