About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and articulate Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our dynamic team supporting a Canadian-based firm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for B2B sales, client acquisition, and relationship management, with the ability to communicate effectively and build long-term partnerships with international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Canadian market through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, business owners, and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs and deliver effective business solutions.
- Conduct virtual meetings and sales presentations to pitch services and customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements in line with company policies.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, or service-based industries is preferred (but not mandatory).
- Excellent English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Familiarity with North American business culture and sales practices is a plus.
- Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and other productivity tools.
- Highly self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working during night shift hours (7 PM – 4 AM) to align with Canadian time zones
