The BDE – Export role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market presence across various industries and geographies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating export market opportunities, maintaining relationships with potential partners and clients, and collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement effective growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in export markets to drive revenue and profitability.
- Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and monitor competitor activity to uncover expansion opportunities.
- Cultivate relationships with international distributors, agents, and trade partners to build long-term alliances.
- Stay updated on regulatory and trade developments affecting export operations.
2. Sales Execution & Client Engagement
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, exhibitions, trade & marketing and online channels.
- Conduct client meetings and needs assessments to tailor product offerings and pricing strategies.
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and product pitches.
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to order confirmation and after-sales support.
3. Account Management & Customer Retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key export clients.
- Ensure timely follow-up, order processing, and client support to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
- Handle high-value clients and key account relationships, ensuring smooth coordination and issue resolution.
4. Strategy, Reporting & Coordination
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement export sales strategies.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to management.
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, warehouse, documentation) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and compliance with international trade regulations.
5. Performance Monitoring & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the management.
- Monitor the effectiveness of business development activities and suggest strategic improvements.
- Ensure alignment of sales efforts with broader company goals and operational capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
· Any Bachelor’s degree
· 3+ years of proven experience in the same field.
· Experience in handling export sales – food division.
· Solid communication in English and negotiation skills.
