We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Executive (Freelance Platforms) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the software development industry, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end bidding on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, and PeoplePerHour
- Write customized proposals, estimates, and responses based on client specifications and project details
- Prioritize leads that align with our core offerings—Web Development, Mobile Applications, and emerging tech
- Coordinate with internal teams and provide regular updates to the reporting manager
- Turn short-term gigs into repeat clients and ongoing partnerships
- Conduct lead generation activities via research, competitor tracking, and industry analysis
- Manage client communication and follow-ups through CRMs like HubSpot or Zoho
- Deliver a high standard of customer service through clear timelines, responsiveness, and professionalism
- Reach out to prospects through LinkedIn, cold emails, and other outbound techniques
- Understanding of LinkedIn outreach, Upwork’s best practices, and email prospecting is a bonus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in freelance bidding and client acquisition within the tech services sector
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and others
- Familiar with outreach and research tools such as Apollo, Hunter.io, and Sales Navigator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate independently and deliver under deadlines

- Remote (Lahore/Islamabad)
- Working Hours: 06:00PM-03:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time)
- Preferred Experience: Upwork and other freelance platforms (2+ years)
