Business Development Executive (Logistics)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit competitive quotations in coordination with operations and pricing teams.
  • Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients.
  • Ensure profitable business conversion aligned with company margins.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Follow up on customer feedback and resolve service-related concerns in coordination with operations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Identify new markets, trade lanes, and business sectors.
  • Provide regular sales reports and market insights to management.
  • Coordinate with operations, documentation, and finance departments to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM system.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, freight rates, customs procedures, and logistics operations.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, market research, and referrals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month
