Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations in coordination with operations and pricing teams.
- Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients.
- Ensure profitable business conversion aligned with company margins.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Follow up on customer feedback and resolve service-related concerns in coordination with operations.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Identify new markets, trade lanes, and business sectors.
- Provide regular sales reports and market insights to management.
- Coordinate with operations, documentation, and finance departments to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, freight rates, customs procedures, and logistics operations.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, market research, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
