Business Development Executive - Logistics

Element HR Consulting is hiring on behalf of a client in the shipping and logistics sector for the position of Liner & Freight Forwarding Sales Executive.

Job Summary

We are seeking a target-driven sales professional to generate new business opportunities and expand market presence across liner shipping and freight forwarding services. The role focuses on sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, and multimodal solutions, with responsibility for revenue growth and client relationship management within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in liner shipping and freight forwarding.
• Promote FCL, LCL, air freight, breakbulk, and multimodal transport solutions.
• Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, networking, and referrals.
• Prepare competitive freight quotations in coordination with pricing and operations teams.
• Negotiate freight rates, service terms, and contractual agreements with clients.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, importers/exporters, and corporate clients.
• Maintain coordination with shipping lines and overseas agents.
• Monitor market trends, trade lanes, and competitor pricing strategies.
• Ensure smooth handover to operations for shipment execution.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–6 years of UAE experience in liner shipping or freight forwarding sales.
• Strong knowledge of trade lanes, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Existing UAE client network preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
