Business Development Executive – Logistics

Business Development Executive (BDE) – LogisticsJob Overview

We are hiring a motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) for our international logistics and freight forwarding business. The role involves lead generation, handling import/export clients, preparing quotations, and closing deals for air freight, sea freight, and door-to-door shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and Meta leads
  • Handle inbound inquiries related to import and export shipments
  • Understand shipment requirements such as origin, destination, weight, volume, and mode of transport
  • Coordinate with the operations team to obtain rates and prepare quotations
  • Share quotations with clients and follow up to close deals
  • Educate clients about logistics services including air freight, sea freight, DDP/DDU, and door-to-door solutions
  • Maintain client records, follow-ups, and sales pipeline using Google Sheets or CRM
  • Achieve monthly revenue and shipment targets
  • Build and maintain long-term B2B client relationships

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales is preferred
  • Ability to negotiate rates and close sales deals
  • Basic understanding of INCOTERMS, freight modes, and logistics pricing
  • Proficient in WhatsApp, email communication, and Google Sheets / CRM
  • Target-driven mindset with a professional attitude

Experience & Education

  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics sales or B2B sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Qualified leads generated
  • Quotations shared vs. deals closed
  • Monthly revenue generated
  • Active client accounts
  • Follow-up discipline

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs65,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
