Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will support central business development operations from the Pune Head Office. The role involves lead generation support, cold calling, RFQ handling, coordination with internal teams, and assisting in order closure. The incumbent will play a key role in strengthening client relationships and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calling and follow-ups on generated leads
- Support lead generation activities and client engagement
- Assist in RFQ collection, documentation, and proposal coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments for quotations, approvals, and submissions
- Maintain and update client database, CRM records, and MIS reports
- Support order closure documentation and post-order internal coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Travel for customer meetings and business discussions when required
Education & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development / Sales Support (mandatory)
- Exposure to Renewable Energy sector (IPP / EPC) will be preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good negotiation and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Performance-driven, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements
