About the Role
City University Qatar (CUQ), in partnership with Ulster University, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive – Student Recruitment to support student enrolment growth through strategic recruitment, corporate engagement, and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive student recruitment activities to achieve enrolment targets and KPIs
- Generate, manage, and convert prospective student leads through CRM, outreach, networking, and follow-up
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate organisations, employers, ministries, and governmental entities to secure student enrolments
- Develop strategic partnerships that support admissions, sponsorships, internships, and career development opportunities
- Conduct presentations, recruitment events, and promotional meetings to represent CUQ programmes effectively
- Support student enquiries and guide applicants through the admissions process from initial contact to enrolment
- Collaborate with the Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure effective lead generation and seamless applicant transition
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, open days, school visits, and external promotional events
- Prepare weekly business development, recruitment, and pipeline performance reports
- Network across Qatar to identify new recruitment opportunities and expand market presence
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong stakeholder engagement at all levels
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in education, business development, or sales
- Experience in B2B/B2C sales, lead generation, and conversion
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and customer engagement skills
