Business development executive- Travel Industry

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate travel, leisure travel, group tours, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct sales presentations and client meetings to promote travel packages and services.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and partners.
  • Understand client travel requirements and customize travel solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

3. Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Identify new markets and emerging travel trends.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve product offerings.

4. Partnership & Vendor Coordination

  • Collaborate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel service providers.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and special offers.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to enhance service delivery.

5. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Track KPIs and ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain CRM records and sales pipelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the travel or tourism industry.
  • IATA Qualified candidates preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD300.000 - BD450.000 per month
