Business Development Executive (Upwork Bidder)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive (Upwork Bidder) to join our Digital Marketing Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business through online freelancing platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Legiit, and others. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to craft compelling proposals to secure projects and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Identification: Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms that align with the company’s expertise.
• Proposal Writing: Write customized, high-quality, and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements to increase the chances of project acquisition.
• Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their project needs, negotiate terms, and build trust.
• Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and follow up regularly to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (design, development, marketing) to prepare accurate project quotes and deliverables.
• Performance Targets: Meet or exceed monthly bidding and project acquisition targets.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an Upwork Bidder or in a similar business development role.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Sales Skills: Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and close deals effectively.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT services, web development, digital marketing, or design projects is a plus.
