New Business Development

Prospect for potential new clients and convert them into long-term business opportunities for Verification of Conformity in GCC markets.

Conduct cold calling and outreach within target markets to build a robust sales pipeline.

Meet potential clients through networking, events, and leveraging professional connections.

Research, identify, and establish relationships with new key accounts.

Arrange meetings between client decision-makers and Cotecna’s practice leaders.

Plan approaches, develop tailored proposals, and deliver pitches aligned with client needs and objectives.

Collaborate with technical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure client requirements are met.

Business Development Planning

Design and implement strategic sales campaigns.

Develop and present sales forecasts and market analysis to senior management.

Attend industry functions, trade shows, and conferences, providing feedback on trends and opportunities.

Consult with management on emerging business trends to drive the development of new services, products, and distribution channels.

Identify opportunities for expanding Cotecna’s client portfolio across services and regions.

Position Cotecna by highlighting its unique selling propositions and differentiators against competitors.

Research and Coordination

Submit weekly sales and progress reports with accurate data.

Track sales performance, ensuring team targets are consistently met or exceeded.

Record activity on accounts and assist in closing deals.

Ensure all documentation, vendor registrations, and client prerequisites are completed on time.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of Verification of Conformity (VoC) programmes.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a business development role.

Strong data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills to translate insights into effective strategies.

Excellent communication skills across in-person, phone, and email platforms.

Creative problem solver who thrives in challenging environments.

Ability to build, grow, and maintain client relationships across diverse industries.

Willingness to comply with company’s non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
