Business Development Executive (Apollo.io)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with proven expertise in Apollo.io for B2B lead generation and outreach.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting prospects into qualified business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth through strategic prospecting and personalized outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Utilize Apollo.io to identify, extract, and qualify high-quality B2B leads
- Build, segment, and maintain prospect lists based on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)
- Conduct market and account research to identify decision-makers and opportunities
Outreach & Engagement
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (cold email, LinkedIn, and cold calling)
- Craft personalized, high-converting outreach messages
- Follow up strategically to nurture leads and improve response rates
Sales Coordination
- Schedule qualified meetings and demos for the sales/management team
- Ensure smooth handover of leads with proper context and requirements
- Support the sales team in pipeline development
CRM & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems
- Track KPIs such as open rates, reply rates, meetings booked, and conversions
- Continuously optimize outreach campaigns based on performance data
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing to refine targeting and messaging
- Share insights to improve lead generation strategies and campaign effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Apollo.io
- Strong understanding of B2B lead generation and sales funnels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with outreach and automation tools (e.g., Apollo.io)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce)
- Basic understanding of SaaS or digital marketing services sales
