Role Overview

Octacer is seeking a Business Development Intern (BD Intern) to support our growth initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to learn the fundamentals of business development, lead generation, and client acquisition in the SaaS industry.

As a BD Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience using industry-standard tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, Upwork, and Freelancer.com, while working closely with our sales and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

· Conduct basic research to identify potential clients and industries.

· Assist the sales team in managing and maintaining a lead database.

· Write outreach messages and emails for LinkedIn, email campaigns, etc.

· Assist in preparing and delivering product demos.

· Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system.

· Share insights and feedback from client outreach to improve sales strategies.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

· Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Freelancer.com, or CRM tools is a plus (training will be provided).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to craft clear and effective email messages.

Preferred Skills

· Lead generation and client research.

· Using LinkedIn for professional outreach.

· Applying for jobs/projects on Upwork or Freelancer.com

· Basic CRM usage (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho).

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Internship Structure & Compensation:

· First Month: Unpaid

· Second & Third Months: Paid

Pay : Based on performance

Note: Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to a full-time offer.
