Octet Solutions is a Canadian Company with a diverse portfolio in Saas, Education, Immigration, Management, Restaurant and Construction Industry. We are seeking Business Development Interns to support our product research, market analysis, and idea validation processes. This role is perfect for those who think commercially and can evaluate whether a feature can succeed in the real market.
Key Responsibilities
- Research every possible variation of a feature to understand customer and market implications.
- Identify primary, secondary, and commercial use cases.
- Study competitor implementations, keeping complete backup data (screenshots, flows, messaging).
- Evaluate best practices and explain why some features fail or why competitors made specific decisions.
- Analyze every idea from a marketing and revenue perspective, can it sell, who will buy it, and how should it be positioned?
- Contribute out-of-the-box ideas, focusing on unmet needs and unique value propositions.
- Challenge feature ideas with data, customer logic, and market reasoning.
- Assist in preparing pitch decks, reports, and opportunity assessments.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, or similar.
- Strong interest in SaaS, product research, and customer behavior.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Ability to think strategically and logically.
- Strong research capabilities.

Stipend: 15K + 10K (allowance)
