Business Development Intern
Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Intern to join our international logistics and freight forwarding team. The ideal candidate will support business growth by generating leads, coordinating with clients, preparing quotations, and assisting in closing deals for air freight, sea freight, and door-to-door logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage sales leads through Email, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms
- Respond to and handle inquiries from import and export clients
- Understand shipment requirements including origin, destination, cargo weight, volume, and transportation mode
- Prepare and share competitive freight quotations with clients
- Conduct follow-ups with potential clients and negotiate to close deals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, and client interactions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation and sales closing abilities
- 0–1 year experience in sales or logistics sales preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Target-driven with a professional and proactive attitude
- Basic understanding of international freight forwarding is a plus
