Responsibilities & requirements
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Support:
Monitor public announcements and requests for proposals (RFPs) related to mobility and transport.
Perform initial qualification of opportunities (key actors, timelines, main requirements).
Gather market and local information to support the regional BD and bid management teams.
Local Coordination & Stakeholder Relations:
Maintain regular contact with local authorities, consultants, suppliers, and potential partners.
Support administrative requirements such as supplier registrations, compliance documentation, translations, etc.
Support for Events, Exhibitions & Conferences :
Assist in planning and coordinating participation in professional events, exhibitions, and conferences in Saudi Arabia (e.g., Saudi Rail, UITP events).
Handle logistical arrangements such as booth preparation, communication material coordination, and liaising with internal Marketing/Communication teams.
Collect leads and insights and prepare post-event reports for the BD Director.
Bid & Tender Support :
Support the creation of commercial documents (presentations, market briefs, local content annexes).
Gather local information required for bid submissions in coordination with the bid team.
Assist in organizing site visits, authority meetings, and technical workshops.
Analysis & Reporting :
Maintain and update internal tracking tools (CRM, opportunity trackers).
Prepare regular reports summarizing activity, market insights, and opportunity pipeline status.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, International Relations, or a relevant field
Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in business development, project coordination, B2B event support, consulting, or a related field.
Experience in transportation, mobility, or infrastructure is a plus but not required.
Experience supporting professional events is appreciated
Professional fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools
