Job Description

The Business Development Lead will drive the commercial growth of San3a Academy by expanding market reach, building strategic partnerships, and managing the full sales pipeline. The role collaborates with internal teams to adapt products for commercial use, integrate paid opportunities into programs, and supports marketing and admissions efforts that boost enrolments. With strong relationship-building skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, the Lead will help position San3a Academy as a key provider of accessible, high-quality tech education.

1. Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute the commercial strategy and annual revenue plan aligned with San3a Academy’s strategic pillars (Employability & Upskilling, Innovation in Education, Community & Sustainability, STEM Learning, Access & Inclusion).
Segment markets (B2C, B2B, B2B2C) and define growth priorities each quarter.
Lead pricing, packaging, and offer design for new and existing programs and products.
Identify new market opportunities and prepare feasibility assessments for geographical expansion.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
Manage the sales pipeline using CRM and dashboards.
Develop and nurture relationships with schools, employers, and universities.
Close partnerships and contracts for tailored programs, training, or after-school initiatives.
Monitor B2C conversion rates, analyze campaign results, and improve enrollment processes.
Work with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing, collections, and financial tracking.
3. Marketing & Promotion Coordination
Collaborate with the shared Marketing team to:
Design digital campaigns and enrollment drives.
Create sales materials, brochures, and landing pages.
Manage visibility at events, fairs, and school engagements.
Coordinate with the Education and Programs teams to align messaging with program content and learning outcomes.
4. Product & Portfolio Development
Collaborate with Education and Programs teams to:
Adapt existing programs for B2C or institutional delivery.
Design customized offerings for corporate and school partners.
Identify flagship products for regional expansion.
Collect market feedback and learner insights to refine offerings.
5. Partnership & Account Management
Develop a partner relationship management process and maintain a partner database.
Ensure timely follow-up, reporting, and satisfaction measurement for all partners.
Liaise with the Programs team for the smooth implementation of commercial partnerships.
6. Coordination & Reporting
Produce monthly revenue, pipeline, and partnership reports.
Monitor KPIs and forecast revenues by product and market.
Report regularly to the Head of Academy and Managing Director on commercial progress and challenges.


Requirements

Essential

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.


  • Experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in education, training, or social enterprise).


  • Understanding of B2C and B2B sales cycles.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (Arabic and English).


  • Analytical thinking — ability to interpret data and adjust strategies. Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, outcome-driven.

Preffered

  • Experience in blended learning, EdTech, or youth employability programs.


  • Familiarity with grant or CSR-funded initiatives.


  • CRM and data reporting proficiency (HubSpot, Airtable, or similar).
