Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with a strong background in the fit-out industry to drive growth and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of interior design and commercial fit-out projects (retail, F&B, hospitality), and a proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and building long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the fit-out and interior contracting market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, architects, project managers, and real estate professionals.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet company sales targets.
• Generate a qualified pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and digital outreach.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids in collaboration with the design and estimating team.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to position the company effectively.
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, project management, commercial) to ensure client expectations are met.
• Maintain CRM records, generate reports, and provide regular updates on sales performance and forecasts.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in business development or sales within the interior fit-out, construction, or design & build sector.
• Strong network of industry contacts in [commercial / retail / F&B / hospitality] sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of fit-out project lifecycles.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
