Concentric Corporation is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition efforts, build lasting relationships, and drive revenue growth for a long time client of ours. This role combines strategic market analysis, hands-on sales activities, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional value to our clients and meet organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Strategy

  • Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive insights.
  • Analyze market data to develop strategies that support company growth.
  • Build and execute sales plans that align with organizational goals

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new clients through networking, outreach, and lead generation activities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns quickly.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Proposal Development & Negotiation

  • Prepare and present professional proposals, quotes, and bid packages tailored to client needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close opportunities with favorable terms for both parties.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Finance to ensure contracts meet company standards and requirements.

Project & Team Coordination

  • Provide detailed project information (scope, budget, timeline) to Project Managers and Finance.
  • Support Project Directors and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Ensure production teams understand scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Oversee change orders and job cost reviews before project handoff.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Document sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions in CRM.
  • Generate regular sales performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track progress toward sales goals and recommend adjustments to strategy when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (experience may offset education).
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or construction/facilities management.
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of facility management services, industry trends, and client needs.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build trust and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
