Business Development Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team at Recruit Prime, a fast-growing recruitment agency. The role is focused on generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence across various industries. The ideal candidate will have strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of recruitment or HR services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and approach potential clients in target industries to promote the agency’s recruitment and HR solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, HR managers, and hiring managers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure client requirements are understood and met efficiently.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities (pipeline, opportunities, client interactions) in the CRM system.
  • Monitor industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent the agency in networking events, exhibitions, and job fairs to promote brand visibility.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
  • Proven 1–3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably within recruitment, staffing, or HR outsourcing services).
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and HR solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships and manage multiple accounts.
  • Target-driven mindset with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
