Business Development Manager
Reporting to CEO
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across our Aviation, Land Forces, Marine, and Consultancy divisions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base within both public and private sectors. This role plays a key part in driving revenue, enhancing market presence, and aligning business development efforts with the company’s commitment to delivering reliable, cost-effective, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Lead Generation
- Identify new market opportunities and develop a robust pipeline of prospects across
sectors.
- Drive expansion strategies for both regional and international markets.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and manage long-term relationships with government clients, OEMs, suppliers, and
stakeholders.
- Ensure client satisfaction through solution-oriented engagements.
3. Sales & Proposal Management
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations addressing client needs.
- Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets and growth KPIs.
4. Partnership & Network Development
- Establish partnerships with OEMs, logistics providers, and service vendors.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery timelines to maximise mutual benefit.
5. Market Research & Strategic Planning
- Analyse trends, competitor strategies, and procurement patterns in defence, aviation, and
marine sectors.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product/service positioning.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, project management, and consulting teams to ensure
seamless execution of contracts and service delivery.
7. Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline status.
- Generate regular reports and forecasts for leadership.
Preferences:
- Language: Proficient in English, French is desirable
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license
- Must be willing to travel within the GCC and internationally, as required
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Aviation, Defence, or related field.
- Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5–10 years in Business Development, Sales, or Strategic Partnerships.
- Proven success in Aviation, Defence, Maritime, or Government Consulting industries.
- Experience working with government procurement and B2G sales in the GCC, especially UAE.
- Track record in securing high-value contracts or defence projects.
Skills Required
1. Technical & Commercial Acumen
- Deep understanding of aviation, defence, and government project cycles, enabling
effective market targeting and opportunity qualification.
- Proven ability to craft and deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals aligned
with client requirements.
- Proficiency in leveraging CRM systems and sales enablement tools to manage pipelines
and drive conversion.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to
create impactful presentations and data-driven reports.
2. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic; (French is a
strong advantage).
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities, capable of influencing senior decision-
makers and driving stakeholder buy-in.
- Skilled at building trust and maintaining high-impact relationships with government
entities, OEMs, and industry partners.
3. Strategic Thinking & Market Intelligence
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse complex market trends, procurement
behaviours, and competitor strategies.
- Commercially driven mindset focused on value creation, market positioning, and
opportunity development.
- Adept at translating insights into actionable business strategies.
4. Leadership & Execution Excellence
- Highly self-driven and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding
business development targets.
- Excellent planning, time management, and project coordination skills to ensure timely
delivery across functions.
- Effective team collaborator with experience leading or working within cross-functional and
multicultural environments.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
