Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Lalitpur, Nepal. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations:

• Develop and write technical content for proposals, qualifications packages, RFI/RFQ responses, and statements of qualifications (SOQs) in response to public and private utility solicitations.
• Create and update resumes, project descriptions, and company qualifications in alignment with client requirements and evolving service offerings.
• Interview technical staff to accurately capture expertise, project roles, and relevant experience for tailored resume and project profile development.
• Collaborate closely with US proposal and account management team and subject matter experts to develop win strategies and proposal messaging.
• Ensure proposal content aligns with client evaluation criteria, RFP requirements, and the company’s value propositions.
• Maintain a library of reusable content including resumes, project profiles, boilerplate text, and win themes, ensuring materials are current and tailored for each pursuit.
• Track and manage deadlines across multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high standard of writing and accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and tools.
• Support Business Development (BD) activities in International Business.
• Support the Document Management System

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, preferably in the utilities, engineering, or infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of utility industry terminology, trends, and procurement practices (e.g., electric, water, gas, renewables).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe InDesign, SharePoint, or proposal management tools is a plus.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement guidelines, processes, and methods.
