The Business Development Manager will be responsible for business development and client account management. The role will also Champion the TGT Diagnostics brand in the country, connecting customer challenges and opportunities with TGT diagnostic products, as well as contribute to and execute effective market strategy and tactics to deliver exceptional business growth.
Expand the TGT Diagnostics business within the assigned region as per the assigned responsibility.
Contribute to the Market Strategy, Business Development, Sales and Account Management
Develop and maintain close customer and stakeholder relationships at all appropriate levels in all assigned asset teams and departments.
Meet and exceed sales and profitability targets for the account
Deliver service and commercial proposals to the customer and close sales to increase market share and profitability
Develop and leverage a complete understanding of customer business needs, operational challenges and opportunities to align with TGT capabilities
Develop and exhibit an advanced working knowledge of the TGT brand and our diagnostic systems.
Maintain advanced and current knowledge of competitor strengths and weaknesses.
Establish a plan to cover and support existing customers adequately
Increase customer portfolio and identify, develop and deliver new profitable growth opportunities
Maintain sales forecast and opportunity management using ‘Salesforce’ and coordinate with other business units as required
Liaise with customers and the TGT communications team to provide case studies for articles and other purposes
Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
Support completion of the tender to the client’s schedule. After tender submission, maintain follow-up dialogue with the client to close out
Ensure that all business matters are conducted in full compliance with the ‘Company Code of Conduct’ and integrity
Assures and adherences to all HSE regulations necessary for either on or offshore at all times
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institute or university, preferably in Physics, Geology, Geophysics, or Engineering
More than 5 years’ oilfield services experience, preferably within production logging and/or integrity diagnostics, or a related sector
Strong ambition to become a top sales performer and sales manager within the next few years
An insatiable appetite to communicate regularly with customers to connect customer needs with TGT solutions.
Proven track record in oilfield sales and account management, with an actionable
Client network within the cased hole diagnostics sector
Technical knowledge of various diagnostic techniques and technology used to evaluate flow and integrity throughout the well system is essential
Technical or Domain expert would be essential if no sales experience exists. The applicant would be required to show initiative to acquire sales skills
Proactive, ambitious, energetic and tenacious
Working knowledge of ‘Salesforce’ CRM platform
Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills
Excellent negotiation skills and ideally has undertaken sales training or related disciplines
