Business Development Manager – Staffing & Outsourcing

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for generating new business leads, closing contracts, and expanding our client base for staff augmentation, contract staffing, permanent recruitment, and outsourcing services across the UAE and wider GCC region. Your role is critical in bridging the gap between client workforce needs and our talent delivery capabilities, with a focus on consultative selling and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Client Acquisition
- Identify potential clients for contract staffing, permanent recruitment, outsourcing, and project-based hiring services within the UAE and GCC.
- Generate leads via cold calling, networking events, job portals, LinkedIn, and industry databases.
- Create and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients across multiple sectors.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Develop tailored proposals and workforce solutions aligned with UAE/GCC hiring trends and client project requirements.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annual revenue goals).
3. Client Consultation & Relationship Building
- Engage with senior decision-makers including HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Heads, Business Unit Leaders, and Procurement Managers.
- Conduct needs analysis, understand client workforce challenges, and recommend optimal staffing/outsourcing solutions.
- Foster long-term client relationships through periodic reviews, satisfaction checks, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
4. Coordination with Operations Teams
- Work closely with recruitment delivery and HR operations teams to ensure timely submission of quality candidates.
- Monitor recruitment cycles, coordinate interviews, and ensure timely closures.
- Act as the communication bridge between client stakeholders and recruitment teams to manage expectations.
5. Contract Negotiation & Compliance
- Negotiate commercial terms, payment structures, and SLAs with UAE-based and GCC clients.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, free zone regulations, and outsourcing norms.
- Draft and review MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs in coordination with the legal team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 5–7 years in business development/sales within the staffing, outsourcing, or recruitment industry in UAE/GCC.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of staffing and outsourcing delivery models, UAE labor law, and GCC contractual workforce trends.
- Sales Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho), ATS platforms, and Excel reporting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to prepare and deliver compelling client proposals and pitch decks.
- Negotiation: Proven ability to close large deals with a solid understanding of margins, markups, compliance, and delivery timelines.
