Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Technology industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technology landscape, including emerging threats, industry trends, and innovative solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and contribute to the overall growth of our Technology business.


Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Market Research and Strategy Development:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the Technology sector.

- Develop and implement effective business strategies to target key markets and clients.


Sales and Client Acquisition:

- Drive sales of Technology products and services by identifying potential clients and nurturing leads.

- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.


Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

- Understand client needs and offer tailored Technology solutions.

- Provide ongoing support and after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.


Collaboration and Coordination:

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.

- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that offerings meet market needs.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and client service.


Industry Knowledge and Expertise:

- Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity technologies.

- Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to build contacts and stay informed.


Reporting and Analysis:

- Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to inform business strategies.

- Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development activities and outcomes.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the cybersecurity or Information Technology industry.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with clients and team members.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.


Preferred Skills:

- Experience with CRM software and sales tools.

- Technical background in cybersecurity or related IT fields.
