Job Title: Business Development Manager – New Client Acquisition

Role Overview
AdLift Marketing is seeking a Business Development Manager (4–5 years’ experience) to drive new business growth through both inbound and outbound channels, with a strong emphasis on inbound. You will own the lead conversion funnel, manage client relationships, and work closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, data-driven, and experienced in working with CRM tools to manage pipelines, track leads, and convert them into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and referrals; qualify, nurture, and convert them into clients.
  • Drive outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, emails, and targeted outreach to create additional opportunities.
  • Own the sales pipeline—track leads, update stages, and maintain data accuracy using CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce/Zoho).
  • Deliver pitches & proposals tailored to client needs; collaborate with internal teams to build solution-based presentations.
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers to improve engagement and conversions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new segments, emerging trends, and competitive insights.
  • Prepare regular reports on pipeline status, lead conversions, and sales performance for leadership review.
  • Partner with marketing & account teams to improve lead quality, accelerate conversions, and ensure smooth client onboarding.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4–5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in a digital marketing/agency environment.
  • Strong experience in managing inbound leads and converting them into clients.
  • Hands-on expertise with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) for pipeline tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and pitch relevant digital marketing solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing end-to-end BD cycles.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights from sales/CRM data.
