Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth across our Exhibitions, Events, Museums, and Retail Interiors division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business generation, a deep understanding of spatial experience design, and a strong network within the industry. The role is based in Kochi with travel as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in exhibition design & build, experiential events, museum installations, and retail spaces
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporates, event agencies, curators, architects, government bodies, and retail brands
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client needs
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, client meetings, RFP responses, negotiations, and closures
  • Collaborate with internal teams – Design, Projects, Production, and Marketing – to ensure alignment and delivery of client expectations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the experiential and built environment space
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking platforms
  • Maintain CRM data, generate reports, and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, or Design-related fields); MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within exhibitions, experiential events, museums, or retail fit-outs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong client network within the South Indian and pan-India market is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and project coordination
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools preferred

  • Exposure to government and private sector RFPs and tendering process
  • Ability to visualize and communicate spatial concepts effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹47,049.97 per month
