We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence, build strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable growth.
Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and closing new client engagements for the firm. The role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, strong networking abilities, and a solid understanding of professional services in accounting and related advisory areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets and industries aligned with firm capabilities.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, referral sources, and strategic partners (law firms, banks, corporate service providers, technology firms, etc.).
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, needs assessment, proposal development, presentation, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Collaborate with Partners and Service Line Leaders to tailor proposals, scoping, and pricing.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend monitoring to inform strategy.
- Prepare compelling proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
- Represent the firm at industry events, seminars, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain a robust CRM pipeline, track activity, and provide regular reports on sales metrics and forecasts.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives by providing market feedback, content ideas, and success stories.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction, quality of service, and adherence to firm standards.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new clients.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting the accounting and consulting landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in business development or sales (preferably in accounting, assurance, consulting, or professional services).
- Strong understanding of UAE market dynamics and corporate services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate leads independently and convert prospects into clients.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
