Drive top-line growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the express courier and logistics sector across the UAE, KSA and wider GCC. Build strategic partnerships, expand channel networks, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that meet revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Opportunity Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor activities, customer segments (e-commerce, C2C, B2B) and regulatory landscapes in UAE/KSA.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products (e.g., low-cost “Prime” service) and geographies.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Generate qualified leads through networking, industry events, digital channels, and partner referrals.
- Manage end-to-end sales pipeline in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Partnership Development
- Identify and onboard strategic Freight and Express partners to broaden distribution.
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs and revenue-share agreements with regional couriers and postal services.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, including e-commerce marketplaces, SMEs and high-volume shippers.
- Serve as primary liaison, ensuring seamless coordination between client needs and internal operations (pricing, tech integration, final-mile teams).
- Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare and present compelling business proposals, RFP responses and ROI analyses.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company policies, pricing models and risk management guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Development, Operations, IT and Finance to tailor service offerings, optimize processes and integrate new technologies (track & trace, API connectivity).
- Partner with Marketing to develop localized campaigns, thought-leadership content and event sponsorships.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Define and track KPIs—new revenue, win rate, average deal size, pipeline velocity—and deliver weekly/monthly performance reviews to senior management.
- Recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on data insights.
- Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at industry forums (UPU conferences, GCC logistics summits), build thought leadership and leverage UPU membership to navigate regulatory challenges and union negotiations.
