Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to sell digital payments solutions to banking clients overseas Singapore/ Dubai The candidate must have a proven track record in sales and business development within the fintech or payments sector, specifically in tapping, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with local banks of defined region

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and onboard banks in specified overseas markets for digital payment solutions.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market and account acquisition strategies for international banking clients.
  • Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with key bank stakeholders to drive adoption of digital payments platforms.
  • Drive commercial negotiations, manage deal closures, and coordinate contract management for international sales.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas and revenue targets set for the international territory.
  • Monitor international market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for current and new payment products.
  • Collaborate with product, legal, and delivery teams for tailor-made solutions and seamless client onboarding.
  • Represent Organization at international industry events, forums, and conferences.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management in digital payments, fintech, or banking sectors in the defined region.
  • Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, products stacks (cards, UPI, payment gateways), and banking technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently acquire and manage international banking clients.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills at senior levels (including CXOs).
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance for payment products in key foreign markets.
  • Ability to operate in a cross-functional environment and deliver results in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in additional languages would be a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Business, Technology, or Finance.
  • Previous exposure to SAAS/B2B enterprise sales in digital payments or banking software.
  • Experience working with global banks and fintech clients in the defined geography
