We are looking for a
Business Development Manager
for a trading company in Dubai. who will drive growth for our textile manufacturing division with focus on
Textile, upholstery, and interior fit-out markets
. The role requires strong industry relationships, the ability to identify new opportunities, and experience selling to furniture manufacturers, interior contractors, design studios, and hospitality fit-out companies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales

Identify and develop new business opportunities within furniture manufacturers, interior fit-out contractors, and design consultants.

Promote the company’s textile products (upholstery fabrics, drapery, technical textiles, etc.) to target clients.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through market research and active prospecting.
2. Client Relationship Management

Maintain relationships with existing clients while expanding business with new accounts.

Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demos.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with buyers and procurement teams.
3. Market Intelligence
-
Monitor trends in furniture manufacturing, interior design, and contract fit-out markets.

Analyze competitor offerings and provide feedback to product development teams.

Identify opportunities for custom textile solutions for furniture and interior projects.
4. Project Coordination
-
Work closely with production, logistics, and design teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Follow up on large-scale interior projects (hospitality, offices, residential) requiring textile and furniture solutions.

Coordinate sample development and fabric specifications as required by clients or designers.
5. Reporting

Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.

Update CRM with client interactions, leads, and opportunities.

Present strategies to management for market expansion.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Design, or related field.

3–7 years of experience in sales or business development
, preferably in textiles, upholstery fabrics, or furniture manufacturing.

Strong contacts in
interior fit-out, furniture factories, and design/architecture community
.

Understanding of textile specifications, fabric performance standards, and furniture production preferred.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
