We are looking for a well-rounded
Business Development Manager
to join our team in
Armada UAE.
The potential candidate should be capable of planning, leading and executing the following responsibilities:

Identify new business development opportunities including new market entry, products and channels

Prospect for potential clients and convert them into increased business opportunities.

Perform opportunity assessment and conduct strategic & financial analysis
-
Examine risks & potential in new business deals and support the due diligence process
-
Maintain and build new external relationships to identify growth opportunities
-
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating company's needs and goals.

Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
-
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.

Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

Coordinate the requirements of new business deals. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met

ProvidE extensive knowledge of the market and economy situation, towards determining sales forecast for all products by category / territory, etc.

Well informed of annual & sales target (per brands and company as a whole) to ensure operations/ sales are conducted within the agreed financial parameters

Communicate sales plan and targets to the sales team and provide them sufficient market and trend awareness training, guidance and motivation to achieve targets successfully

Review of the sales forecast against the results achieved on a regular basis. Make changes to the strategy/ approach to adapt to unexpected changes in the business environment

Conduct regular market visit to gather and analyze market intelligence, consumer trends and information to prepare business plans

Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients

Establish and maintain strong network of business contacts and relationships within the market to increase market awareness, obtain market/competitor intelligence and customer preference information

Report market and competitive activities of the brand/s category with recommendations on actions and objectives that should be taken
Qualifications

Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Sales and Marketing or in a business-oriented discipline
-
Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in a similar position with strong track record of brand management & business development initiatives in a leading FMCG Distribution or multi- national company
-
Proficient in English language, Arabic/ French would be an advantage
