Business Development Manager

Job Title: Business Development Manager – School Partnerships (EdTech)

Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Head of Sales / Director – Growth
Location: Delhi

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager with strong connections in schools and proven experience in the EdTech industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and nurturing partnerships with schools, academic institutions, and key decision-makers.

The candidate must possess an in-depth understanding of the education ecosystem, strong relationship management skills, and a proven track record in institutional sales.

Key Responsibilities1. School Acquisition & Partnerships

  • Leverage existing network and build new relationships with school principals, management, and trustees.
  • Identify and onboard new school partners.
  • Present and demonstrate EdTech solutions to decision-makers.
  • Close institutional sales deals and achieve revenue targets.

2. Relationship Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with partner schools.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and renewal of contracts.
  • Act as a single point of contact for key accounts.

3. Market Expansion

  • Identify new territories and expansion opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitor offerings.
  • Develop and implement regional growth strategies.

4. Revenue & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Track KPIs and provide regular updates to management.

5. Product Positioning & Feedback

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations).
  • Provide feedback from schools to enhance product offerings.
  • Support marketing campaigns and school engagement activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Business Development / Institutional Sales.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in EdTech industry.
  • Strong network and existing connects with schools is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience handling K-12 school partnerships.
  • Understanding of digital learning solutions, LMS platforms, or curriculum-based products.
  • CRM experience (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
