Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Officer to drive growth for our MEP contracting company. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services within the construction industry and a proven ability to secure new projects, build client relationships, and support tendering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in MEP contracting projects
• Develop relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and project owners
• Track upcoming construction projects and prequalification opportunities
• Prepare and submit prequalification documents, proposals, and tenders
• Coordinate with estimation and technical teams for bid preparation
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets
• Maintain and update CRM database with leads and project status
• Conduct market research to monitor competitor activity and pricing trends
• Represent the company at industry events and networking meetings

Requirements

• MBA with degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in business development within MEP or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes
• Proven track record of securing MEP projects
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and tender documents
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network of consultants, contractors, and developers
• Experience in handling large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards
