Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, structure, and scale the business development function to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Manage, mentor, and develop Business Development Team Leaders and their teams, ensuring high performance and continuous capability building.

Set clear departmental objectives, KPIs, and revenue targets aligned with company strategy.

Drive a performance-driven culture through regular reviews, coaching, and succession planning.

Establish best practices, sales processes, and governance frameworks across the BD team.
Revenue Growth & Client Acquisition
- Own and be accountable for overall revenue generation and pipeline health across all BD channels.

Oversee lead generation strategies and ensure consistent pipeline growth through multiple acquisition channels.

Personally engage in high-value deals, key accounts, and strategic client negotiations.

Guide the team in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.

Review and approve major proposals, pricing strategies, and commercial terms.

Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Business Development Strategy & Market Expansion
- Design and execute the overall business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives.

Identify new markets, industries, and partnership opportunities to expand the business footprint.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine strategy.

Introduce innovative approaches to improve market penetration and conversion rates.

Collaborate with leadership on long-term revenue planning and forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to align go-to-market strategies and offerings.

Ensure seamless coordination between BD, delivery, and client servicing teams.

Act as a key liaison between senior management and the BD function.

Provide executive-level reporting on revenue performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities.

Drive alignment on strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
Ideal Profile
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience 10-12 years in business development, sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
