Job Purpose

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to own Mazeed's growth in the KSA market. This is a full-cycle sales, BD, and partnerships role, from prospecting and pipeline building to closing deals, expanding accounts, and developing strategic partnerships. You'll be the face of Mazeed in Saudi Arabia, reporting to the Head of Business Development.

You'll need to be sharp, autonomous, and deeply comfortable operating in the accounting and finance software space. This isn't a role for order-takers, we need someone who can hunt, build relationships, close deals, and forge the right partnerships to accelerate growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle in KSA, from lead generation and qualification through to contract close
  • Build and manage a structured pipeline using CRM tools (HubSpot)
  • Identify, approach, and develop relationships with SME business owners, CFOs, and finance decision-makers
  • Identify, negotiate, and activate strategic partnerships, including referral partners, resellers, technology integrators, and accounting firms
  • Manage and nurture the existing partner ecosystem in KSA to drive co-selling and pipeline generation
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for KSA aligned with mazeed's overall growth strategy
  • Represent Mazeed at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities in the KSA market
  • Partner with the marketing, product and operations team to relay market feedback and customer insights
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell within the existing customer base
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Work closely with the Head of BD on strategic initiatives, key accounts, and partnership opportunities

Essential Skills and Qualifications

    • 6–10 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a strong track record in accounting, finance software, or SaaS
    • Deep understanding of the SME market in Saudi Arabia, you know how business owners think and what they need
    • Proven ability to close deals independently, without hand-holding
    • Experience working with or selling ERP, accounting, or financial management platforms is a strong plus
    • Familiarity with ZATCA regulations, VAT, and the KSA compliance landscape is a major advantage
    • Proficient in CRM tools — HubSpot experience preferred
    • Strong communicator in both Arabic and English, written and verbal
    • Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment with lean processes

    Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate
