Business Development Manager

Job Overview:

He will be responsible for effectively managing relationships with brokers, insurance company and generating business and maintaining the service relationship of Almadallah. He is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of business development and client relationship management.

Main Task, Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Business Development

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurer, broker and potential clients.

· Actively promote and educate stakeholders about new business ventures and regulatory changes.

· Collaborate with the BD team to develop effective strategies for business growth.

· Signing new agreement with insurance companies.

· Product development and implementation.

2. Client Relationship Management:

· Maintain positive relationships with brokers, insurance company & clients.

· Address client queries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

· Engage with brokers in regular meetings to transfer product knowledge, company propositions and offerings, understand and resolve their issues.

· Ensure client satisfaction and retention through effective communication and problem-solving.

· Create and implement engagement plans for each Broker, insurance company and client based on scope and scale of their operations aligned with company’s offerings and risk appetite.

3. Contract Implementation:

· Review and oversee the successful implementation of contracts with new clients.

· Collaborate with operational teams to ensure contractual obligations are met.

· Conduct contract reviews and negotiate terms, if necessary.

4. Training and Orientation:

· Develop and deliver training programs to educate insurance members and team members about new business initiatives, regulations, implementation plan reviews and best practices.

Provide guidance and support to team members during the onboarding

5. Reporting and Communication:

· Keep the CEO informed about new business enrollments, opportunities, and challenges.

· Prepare regular reports on business activities and progress towards goals.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange information and align efforts.

6. Team Leadership and Development:

· Support team development through periodic review, mentoring counseling, and feedback.

· Conduct performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development.

· Maintain utmost quality standards in processes and procedures.

· Ensure adherence of the team to set KPIs and SLAs

Preferred Qualification, Experience & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management.

Experience:

5-8 years of managing insurer & Broker relationships in UAE, insurance industry.

Successful track record with the focus on achieving targets.

Excellent communication and coordinating skills.

Well versed with general & health insurance products
