About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our outbound sales efforts and day-to-day sales operations. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate looking to build a career in business development, sales operations, and CRM management while working with a US-based sales team.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Outreach
- Execute high-volume email outreach to cold and stalled sales opportunities using Gmail mail merge.
- Re-engage dormant prospects and book qualified meetings on the Account Executive's calendar.
- Follow established outreach sequences and maintain consistent follow-up with prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and engagement.
Response Management
- Respond to prospect emails using approved templates and playbooks.
- Escalate complex inquiries, objections, or opportunities requiring custom responses to the Account Executive.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with prospects.
CRM Management & Data Hygiene
- Update and maintain opportunity records within the CRM.
- Review pipeline stages and ensure opportunities are accurately categorized.
- Identify changes in Account Executive ownership and flag discrepancies.
- Log notes and activities for every outreach, follow-up, and customer interaction.
- Maintain clean, complete, and accurate sales data.
Campaign Tracking & Reporting
- Categorize prospect responses using predefined coding systems.
- Apply campaign tags and maintain reporting accuracy.
- Support the creation and maintenance of sales performance reports.
- Track campaign response rates, meetings booked, and other key metrics.
General Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day sales operations and administrative tasks.
- Conduct basic online research to support sales initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and internal documentation.
- Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting better workflows.
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
- Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Perform other business development, operations, or administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) is a plus.
- Experience with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or data management is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of sales, lead generation, or customer relationship management is preferred but not required.
