Position Overview – Business Development Manager (BDM)

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities in air freight, sea freight (LCL/FCL), project cargo, customs brokerage, and supply chain solutions.

The ideal candidate must possess strong industry insights, a proactive sales mindset, and a proven track record in client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & execute strategic business development plans to meet sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, research & industry engagement.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term retention.
• Prepare & present value-driven logistics solutions and competitive proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with clients.
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and global agents to ensure smooth shipment handling.
• Track performance metrics: sales pipeline, revenue targets, and market trends.
• Stay informed about global trade developments, freight rates, and routing options.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, business meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 3–5 years of proven sales/BD experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Solid understanding of air freight, sea freight (LCL/FCL), and customs clearance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong client relationship-building and account management capabilities.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and performance-focused.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
