We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to manage the end-to-end business development operations of the company.
The role involves planning, executing, and overseeing business growth strategies, handling key partnerships, and leading a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to achieve organizational targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, institutions, sub-agents, and partnerships.
- Manage the complete business development lifecycle—from lead generation to conversion and relationship management.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and student demand to align business strategies.
Team Management & Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives.
- Assign targets, monitor performance, and ensure timely achievement of individual and team goals.
- Conduct regular reviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure discipline, productivity, and alignment with company objectives.
Partnerships & Networking :
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleges, universities, sub-agents, schools, and corporate partners.
- Represent the company in seminars, expos, school visits, and promotional events.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements and MOUs in coordination with management.
Sales & Revenue Growth :
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Oversee lead management, follow-ups, conversions, and reporting.
- Work closely with counseling, visa, and operations teams to ensure smooth student processing and high satisfaction.
Reporting & Coordination :
- Prepare and submit regular performance reports, market insights, and business forecasts to management.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns, promotions, and branding initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and business standards.
Required Skills :
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in business development, preferably in overseas education / study abroad consultancy.
- Proven experience in handling a team and managing end-to-end business operations.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities.
- Valid driving license .
