Position Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Diagnostics

Department: Diagnostics Division / Business Development

Location: Tamil Nadu (State Level Role)

Reporting To: VP- FoCUS

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Objective:

To lead and manage the Diagnostics Business across Tamil Nadu, with full responsibility for Business Growth, Sales Expansion, Vendor Development, and Operational Execution. The role requires strong domain knowledge of diagnostic services, healthcare partnerships, and business strategy implementation to drive sustainable growth and profitability under the QnQ Healthcare brand.

Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Expansion

· Develop and execute strategies to expand the diagnostics business across Tamil Nadu.

· Identify new B2B and B2C opportunities including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and franchise partners.

· Plan, propose, and implement state-level initiatives to increase diagnostic revenue streams.

· Drive new test introductions, wellness packages, and preventive health campaigns.

2. Sales & Marketing Execution

· Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for the Diagnostics Division.

· Design and implement region-specific marketing and promotional activities.

· Strengthen customer relationships through corporate tie-ups, doctor referrals, and health camp partnerships.

· Support digital marketing and branding initiatives for QnQ Diagnostics.

3. Vendor & Partner Management

· Identify and onboard diagnostic vendors, laboratories, and technology partners.

· Negotiate commercial terms, service quality, and turnaround times.

· Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with QnQ standards and SLAs.

· Maintain coordination between collection centers, partner labs, and reporting teams.

4. Operations & Service Quality

· Ensure smooth daily operations of diagnostic centers, including sample collection, logistics, and report delivery.

· Collaborate with the Quality and Compliance teams to ensure NABL/NABH adherence.

· Implement continuous improvement measures to enhance service efficiency and accuracy.

5. Team Leadership

· Build and manage a state-level business development team for the Diagnostics Division.

· Set performance goals, monitor results, and conduct regular reviews and training sessions.

· Motivate and guide team members to achieve revenue and service excellence goals.

6. Reporting & MIS

· Prepare and present weekly/monthly business performance reports.

· Conduct data analysis to identify growth areas and strategic improvement opportunities.

· Submit competitor analysis and market intelligence reports to management.

Required Competencies:

· Strong understanding of Diagnostics / Pathology / Healthcare business operations.

· Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Strategic planning and execution mindset.

· Hands-on leadership and decision-making capability.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.

Qualification & Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Science / Medical Laboratory Technology / Business Administration.

· MBA / PG in Healthcare Management or Marketing preferred.

· Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Diagnostics / Pathology / Healthcare Business Development.

· Prior experience in statewide or multi-center diagnostic business handling will be an advantage.

Compensation:

As per industry standards (Fixed + Performance Incentives)
