Business Development Manager (Civil Engineer)

Position Summary

We are a reputable civil contracting company in Dubai is looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a Civil Engineering background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new civil construction project opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the company's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Search for and develop new construction project opportunities in the UAE market.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with consultants, developers, project owners, and government entities (Dubai Municipality, RTA, etc.).
• Monitor and track new tenders, RFPs, and project announcements relevant to the civil sector.
• Manage prequalification processes with developers, consultants, and public agencies.
• Collaborate with the estimation and tendering team to prepare bids for infrastructure and civil works.
• Represent the company at construction expos, networking events, and client meetings.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare technical and commercial presentations highlighting the company's civil engineering capabilities.
• Maintain CRM/database of leads, contacts, and project pipelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of business development experience in a civil contracting company in the UAE.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil construction works (infrastructure, foundations, structures, etc.).
• Proven network of contacts with consultants, clients, and government departments in Dubai .
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
