The Business Team


The Business Team is the driving force behind revenue generation for our organization. Comprising sales professionals, account managers, and business development specialists, this team is responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities. They engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and provide solutions that align with customers' needs.

The Business Team plays a pivotal role in the growth and sustainability of your business. They are on the front lines, connecting with customers, understanding their requirements, and ultimately converting leads into satisfied clients


As a Tapster you will:

  • Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for enterprise merchants, from commercial handover to successful go-live.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all enterprise acceptance operations, including gateway integrations, API testing, terminal provisioning, MCC configuration, BIN whitelisting, and descriptor registration.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in payment scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard), acquirer requirements, and regulatory frameworks (CBUAE, SAMA, etc.) impacting enterprise merchants.
  • Collaborate with merchants, platforms and marketplaces, and internal stakeholders (e.g., TapOS, Risk, Product) to optimize authorization rates, reduce declines, and drive payment performance improvements.
  • Oversee SLAs, reconciliation, MID/CAID mapping, and complex acceptance routing logic across acquirers (e.g., NI_NGENIUS, MPGS, MADA, etc.).
  • Maintain and improve internal playbooks, documentation, and merchant success frameworks.
  • Drive enterprise merchant satisfaction and retention by proactively solving issues and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Support the development of Tap’s Marketplace, Split Settlement, and Platform solutions for high-volume merchants and aggregators.


What you will bring to the party:

  • 5–8 years of experience in payments, fintech, merchant acquiring, or enterprise merchant management.
  • Proven experience working with enterprise or platform merchants, PSPs, or acquiring banks in the GCC.
  • Strong understanding of card scheme regulations, 3DS, CVV logic, BIN routing, tokenization, and cross-border acceptance.
  • Familiarity with GCC regulators and local licensing requirements (CBUAE, SAMA, ADGM, etc.).
  • Highly analytical with strong project management skills and attention to operational detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive execution under pressure.
